I think this is the same Karriem from "A Black Girl Named Becky" from the late 90's, but do not hold me to that statement. Either way this is very very good music.

Really dope page. Karriem Riggins was the drummer in Common's band. He's also an accomplished jazz drummer & played in the great bassist Ray Brown's trio. In recent years he's been more active in hip-hop/soul,etc., having produced tracks for Erykah Badu, The Roots, Common, & others plus he plays drums on a lot of Dilla tracks & has a group with Madlib (forget what they're called).
