Sade To Release Soldier of Love on 8th February

The wait is now over. RCA Label Group are pleased to announce the release of Soldier of Love, the highly anticipated new body of work from Sade.

Soldier of Love will be released worldwide on 8th February, 2010 and is Sade's first official studio album since the multi-platinum release of Lovers Rock in 2000.

Known for their smooth sounds and rhythmic melodies, Sade has enjoyed phenomenal success both internationally and stateside throughout the span of their twenty-five year career.

Since the release of their debut album, Diamond Life in 1984 the band have seen all five of their studio albums land in the Top 10 on Billboard's Top 200 Album Chart selling a total of more than 50 million albums worldwide to date.

They've been nominated for American Music Awards, MTV Video Music Awards and have won a Brit Award for Best Album for Diamond Life, three Grammy Awards - first in 1986 for Best New Artist, then in 1994 for Best R&B Performance By A Duo Or Group for 'No Ordinary Love', and again in 2002 for Best Pop Vocal Album with Lovers Rock.

You can preorder the album by clicking below:

Terry Richardson x Rosa Acosta

TERRY RICHARDSON has this innate ability to make mainstream models/actresses/etc. take really seedy photos. Seriously, these people would not DARE take these same Calvinesque photos for anyone else. Here is Rosa Acosta doing stuff she'd NEVER do for XXL or KING magazine, not hating just saying. Terry is a BEAST, I respect his hustle.

Review: That Was Then, This Is Now (Tha Dogg Pound album)

Lucky number 7 for Tha Dogg Pound, I've pretty much skipped them all since dogg food...(which is a classic). Daz handled the majority of the production except for one track by Swizz Beats & a few tracks by Soopafly. Surprisingly my least favorite song is the Swizz song, mainly because it sounds rather dated & predictable. The subject matter is the same of pretty much any DPG album, but still listenable. I am giving away two tracks from the album, enjoy.

1. That Was Then This Now (Produced By Daz Dillinger & Soopafly)
2. Attitude Problem Feat. Swizz Beatz & Cassidy (Produced By Swizz Beatz)
3. Deepeegee (Produced By Soopafly)
4. Rollin 'n A Drop Top Feat. Snoop Dogg & A-Dubb (Produced By Soopafly)
5. Get $ Paid Feat. A- Dubb (Produced By Daz Dillinger & I.V.
Co-Produced By Soopafly)
6. Get It Get It Feat. Roscoe (Produced By Daz Dillinger & I.V)
7. How Low Feat. Problem (Produced By Problem)
8. Insanity Feat. Soopafly (Produced By Dawaun Parker & Soopafly)
9. Money Fold'N Feat. Krayzie Bone (Produced By Daz Dillinger)
10. No'mo' Police Burtality (Produced By Lil Jon)
11. On & On (Produced By Daz Dillinger & Soopafly)
12. They Dont Want It Feat. Soopafly (Produced By Soopafly)
13. Tha Liquor Store (Produced By Daz Dillinger & I.V.)
14. U Gets Nuthin Feat. Los (Produced By Carlos (Los) Mcswain)
15. Cheat (Produced By Daz Dillinger & I.V. Co-Produced By Tekneek)
16. Westside Rydin (Produced By Fredwreck)
17. Yall Kno What Im Doin Feat. Turf Talk (Produced By Daz Dillinger & I.V)

V V Brown Brings Stylish Sound Stateside!

The strikingly-visual British songstress V V Brown will release her full-length U.S. debut TRAVELING LIKE THE LIGHT digitally on January 26, 2010 and physically February 10, 2010.

Listeners who want to preview her glamorous pop sound can check out the four-track EP, The Attic, released digitally in late October. The Attic features the tracks "Game Over," "Quick Fix," "Crying Blood (Andrew Weatherall Remix)," and an acoustic performance of "Shark in the Water.” The first U.S. physical release, a 7-inch single, is scheduled for November 17, 2009, featuring “LEAVE! (Little Boots Mix).”

Crying Blood:

Nice little tune by one of my favorite groups of all-time Slum Village. Off their upcoming EP Villa Manifesto (12/8). The digital EP will serve as a warm up for the forthcoming full length Slum Village album, Villa Manifesto, which will be out in 2010 via Barak Records. Both releases will feature Baatin (R.I.P.), and the full length is said to feature the fully united group, including J Dilla.

Freeway x Jake One x Don Cannon - The Beat Made Me Do IT [Mixtape]

I'm wondering if this is a prelude to an official album or is Jake One just giving away beats for free. Jake also has another finished album with Casual which has yet to see the light. No need for a large description on this because Free is one of the more polarizing artists in hip-hop, either you love his music or you hate his voice, no inbetween. Enjoy!

SA-RA "Love Czars II" featuring Jay Electronica & Ta'Raach

Decent track but it'd be even better WITHOUT Ta'raach, or maybe its Shafiq or one of dem Sa-Ra cats, whomever it is gets annoying during the middle of the track. 3/5

3 Brand new songs by Usher (I included Papers as a bonus)...remember December 8th he releases Raymond vs. Raymond. While all four songs range from good to great, "Daddy's Home" is the Usher Raymond we're used to. This song would of been the best track on "Here I Stand"...check it out.
