Dopeman by SLUM VILLAGE

Nice little tune by one of my favorite groups of all-time Slum Village. Off their upcoming EP Villa Manifesto (12/8). The digital EP will serve as a warm up for the forthcoming full length Slum Village album, Villa Manifesto, which will be out in 2010 via Barak Records. Both releases will feature Baatin (R.I.P.), and the full length is said to feature the fully united group, including J Dilla.

Swiped from OKP.

Waajeed - “The Eternal Mixtape (RIP Baatin)”

Swiped from T3's Twitter! Baatin was always my favorite member of SV, while not the most valuable always my favorite. I think he kinda embodied the actual direction of where Slum Village was always going, way more so than Elzhi. While extremely talented, I always felt that Elzhi was better as a solo artist.
